They however long you hit it...there is no set distance. I normally try to hit my 56 with 100-110 yard shots. If I take a good cut at it I can hit my sand wedge around 125, but with a sand wedge its not meant to be swung that hard, its an accuracy club. So I can take nice 3/4 swing and hit it around 100 yards and hopefully have more accuracy then a full swing.
