I ended up shooting a 78 (40 on the back nine first-par 39 and 38 on the front-par 33), but I was saved by the flat stick...28 putts including quite a few in the 10-25 foot range. The problem was that when I finally got some reasonable looks at birdie on #7 and 8, from about 12 and 8 feet, I didn't even scare the cup. A very good round except for the $hank problem that cropped up again at two different points. 8 fairways, 9 GIR.
