I think there should be a Champions Tour event at Augusta , with a selected field of past champions and grerat players. I kind of side with Lefty here. Sometimes I think that the Masters seems to rely on it`s sense of tradition, to maintain it`s status as a major, and it`s not continuing to develop, in order to maintain it`s standing as a Major. To enlarge the field to maybe the top 75 world ranked players would be great
I`d rather they enlarge the field and do away with the 10-shot rule if there`s a constraint on the number of Sunday groupings. When it comes to status, as a viewer I think The Players Championship has grown in status over the years which has been helped by having a larger field of more players who could be in contention.
