It took many years for USPGA to allow overseas players into the Tour .When Tony Jacklin was winning the US Open , some players resented 'him coming over here and taking our money'. I don't believe that the tour would be crazy enough to weaken the tour by stopping young Australians and others graduating through the Nationwide Tour.

The USPGA tour operates in the largest single market place in the World ,which gives sponsors the biggest 'bang per buck ' of their money. Hence the ability to command the highest purses. This will never change and the rest of the World will have to learn to live with it. At present, the European Tour co sponsors events in the winter with the Asian and Afican Tours , giving half th eplaces to each tour and givng recipricol rights to players. It works well . Whie Poulter,Clarke and Harington are playing in Florida , up and coming players get to compete in tournaments they would not normally play.

Hey, I just asked the question for fun, why did everyone get hormonal?
