I couldn't agree more. I break 80 about 5 of every 10 rounds, so I know how to hit a golf ball straight, but I have found the HX Tour to be one unforgiving ball. It is long, but when I try to cut or draw it off the tee it almost always overcooks. I hit a long drive last week that turned so far left it hit a golf cart coming down the second fairway (if that was anyone here, sorry), which is separated from the hole I was playing by 50 yards of preserved area.. I made no effort to retrieve the double crossing ball. The kid I was playing with nearly doubled over he was laughing so hard.
I also find the cover to be fragile, it gets beat quickly simply from hitting it well (as does the V1x IMHO)

. Tough to spend $40 for balls that last about 6 holes.
