I agree. He needs to keep winning. As far as saying he's #3, I don't know about that. I think the top few (Hogan, Nelson, Jack, Tiger, Bobby Jones, et. al.) are pretty much a #1a group.

The things that get me about Tiger, though, is the attitude on the course when things aren't going his way (which has been brought up ad nauseum here, though I did love the reference to Stevie as his "thug" the other day! ), the way he's been almost overly selective of his events in recent years (although to his defense, that seems to be a trend with a number of top level members of the tour -- but not Vijay!), and again the media. While I realize what the ESPN and Golf Channel hacks say is out of his control, being force fed "Tiger is the greatest ever" night in and night out especially early in his career has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. This kid was christened as the Chosen One before he ever turned pro, and in my mind set the bar for "greatest ever" that much higher.
