You mean he wasn't dead when journeyman Jim Furyk pasted him 6 & 4 in his singles match?
Oh wait, that was him on the bench for 3 of the 4 matches held the first two days.
Howell folded like a house of cards in a hurricane when he didn't have a teammate to hold his hand.
