After playing both Maxfli's Rev Tour and Bridgestone's B330s lately, I am convinced Callaway intentionally makes their covers less durable so you use up balls faster.

The HX Hot has a more durable cover than other Callaway balls, but it's a fragile cover for as hard as the ball feels.

I don't think I have played one for more than 6 holes before it starts to look pretty beat.
