Most of the time the winning drive is in the 380-400 yard range I believe. One of the recent ones was in the shorter range because the wind was blowing into their face. The one thing to remember about these long drive guys is that they're using drivers with 48" shafts and the long drive championship is in Las Vegas, at high altitude and with a range sloping away from them. Davis Love III hit one 476 in Vegas last year with his normal driver.....with their technique combined with equipment set up specifically for increasing clubhead speed, I'd bet some of the longer pros could knock em out there in the 400+ range on the long drive circuits if so inclined. :nodsmiley
