Yeah, same thoughts here too.

Ironically I've found tee'ing up lower with irons, (those little orange castle tees, instead of the reds) can get a better conection with that sweeping motion... But that's just me I suppose....lol

Getting the weight transfer & swing tempo spot on helps my 3 iron, which I've had the most trouble with. After a game last week I took both my driving Iron & 3 iron onto the driving range & I discovered something odd, I could actually get my 3 iron hitting off the matt, better than off those **** rubber tees.

Just keep percervering, it'll come, you're not alone in your really long iron difficulties, though I'll say my 4 iron shots, I'm really happy with (smug)...lol
