Anyone else hear something about Wie possibly declaring herself a pro after she turns 16? Seems that if she does that, she need not become a member of either the LPGA, or the PGA, can compete in events on sponsor exemptions, keep the money, and still stay in school.
I'm still not sure I heard it all correctly, but that was my understanding of it.
