You bring up one incident in a Ryder Cup that was a fluff. I'll give you one incident on the opposite scale. How about the clutch putt he made to beat VJ and giving the USA the cup? Everyone fluffs a shot now and then, but it doesn't give them a reputation of folding. I do believe that Tiger (great chip to win Master's) fluffed a chip this past President's Cup. Didn't give him a reputation, did it.

As for the major's, that's something entirely different. You said Ryder Cup and now you bring up the majors. Whole different story.
