Unfortunately, Chris seems to have fallen into the trap which was created and proliferated by a sensationalist media. I guarantee there is no hatred in the Ryder Cup, and DiMarco shouldn't be using that term.
One of the things I appreciated about the last two Presidents Cups was the shortsmanship and tone set by the two mature captains. This is what has made the Presidents Cup so appealing. And this is what is so dearly lacking in the Ryder Cup. I think the captains of the American Ryder Cup teams are too young...they're too close to the players in terms of emotional maturity. I think older, wiser captains would help foster a more decent tone.
