Even though life here has been challenging, it should not diminish the fact that ya'll have your bad days and they can be just as frustrating.
I almost had to laugh though, Halk at your plight (and I really do apologize!)because Forged had a similar situation this past weekend. We had friends in New Iberia that were affected by Hurricane Rita and Forged was going to bring supplies to them. After waiting in our lines to get ice, water, and MREs and driving around to try and find gas to bring to them, Forged got ready to leave the house when I noticed he had a flat tire. I just had to laugh because you really begin to wonder just what else can happen. He had picked up a nail from all the debris around here. He found a tire place open and they told him it would be up to a 5 hour wait (they did not have one customer in their shop). He found an auto parts store open and bought the last tire patch kit. After patching the tire, he was able to take off on his mission.
We all have our bad days and I guess our perspective has changed a little around here. I appreciate that you are thinking of us.
And you are right, stagday, you never know how delays might be a blessing in disguise!
