It doesn't really feel like it should be, but in some (many?) parts of the country, the typical hunting seasons are underway. I know here in PA, archery season has already started, and small game begins next week. I don't get to partake in it nearly as much as I was able to before, but still, a few weekends a year, I get out in the field and make my attempt to bag a few grouse, pheasants, a turkey, or a deer. Of course, here in PA, hunting is a favorite pastime of many (so much so that in PA public schools, students get the first day of deer season off), but I know in other parts of the country, seasons may vary.

As the season progresses, and I get out a few times, I'd like to get some pics of the bigger quarries if I'm lucky enough and will post them here. Anyone else, feel free to do the same. I always enjoy seeing pictures of what everyone else is picking up out there...call it living vicariously through others.
