league, I could be wrong but I think Greg was trying to say that it's a better value. I actually have some personal experience with this sort of thing. I bought the R580XD and traded in a Callaway Hawkeye VFT for it. The guy I bought it from always has the best deals (his starting price for the R580XD was $375 at the time...I got it for $300 with a $75 trade-in on the VFT). Anyway, like 4-5 months later Taylor Made released the R7 Quad. I was more than a little annoyed when I saw the R580XD price drop to $250 at Golfsmith immediately when it had been $400 at GS when I bought it for $300. So I guess my point is that it's better to wait and buy the previous generation of technology for a lot less.
