I am a ProV1x player usually. I picked up 72 mint Z-URs for $100 on eBay. 1st round with them today. I was looking for something that spun less than the ProV1x (just slightly) was cheaper, and provided the same distance.
These fit the bill. For the record, I have an above average swing speed (112mph). My handicap is 6.5.
This ball appears to fly a little farther than the ProV1x with the driver. With the irons, it seemed to be the same. I'd say they do spin slightly less than the ProV1x, and the ball seemed to stop on the green about where it landed with the short irons. I cannot play regular ProV1s at all as they seem to spin far too much (like 30+ feet back with a full SW), and other times they act "normal". I'm sure I am not good enough to control the spin rate on the ball, but I can't deal with another good shot turing to poop when it backs up way too far.
The ball appears to be somewhat durable, not getting terribly scuffed even when hitting the cart path. I'd say 1 ball will last a round. Overall, I am happy with the ball and will continue to play it. The only draw back was it was hard to get a lot of spin on the ball on chips, but I usually don't depend on that anyway.
I also got a few Z-URS in my eBay purchase bag. I will give these a shot too, maybe when it gets warmer.
