I agree you should hit it before you buy or at least try out a demo club first. I wouldn't be too concerned over the loft in itself but as part of the equation to go with your swing and the shaft characteristics. If it has a hi launch shaft (soft tip) you may do well with a 9.5* . What is your typical ball flight? How far do you typically hit your driver (be honest)? What is your typical shot shape, draw, straight, fade? This could determine the best clubhead/shaft combo for you.
Cleveland makes nice clubs but you shouldn't change your swing to suit a certain club. The club should fit YOUR swing.
At the range simply work on feeling the clubhead through impact and making solid contact with the sweet spot. Look at the trajectory and shot shape with a normal swing and go from there.
