I just picked up a 16* G5 hybrid with the NV 85 stiff hybrid shaft and I also play a Sonartech NP-99 with a NV 75 stiff. Both these sticks are long, straight and have perfect trajectory for me. The G5 fills the gap between my 3 iron and my strong 3 wood perfectly for me. In both cases the NV shaft was what came installed in each club. The interesting thing is I have a 8.5* G2 and a 9* Cally 454 both with the NV 65 stiff shaft and I don't hit either of them nearly as far, as consistent or as straight as I do my FT-3 with 757 shaft. Because of this, I didn't think this shaft would work for me at all. Glad I kept an open mind because I have found two clubs that work very well for me with this shaft configuration.
