there is a clear picture difference. imagine a polaroid snapshot vs. a studio photograph done by a professional. i've never been to augusta so i didn't really see the beauty of the magnolias until i saw it on hdtv. even if you go to best buy, you won't be able to see true hdtv as they'll probably have a dvd on but the picture quality still isn't as great.
