Personally I am tired of this story. Wie has yet to prove she can win at any level, amateur or professional. It mystifies me how sponsors give her an exemption to play on a PGA tour event based her performance on the golf course. She is all about publicity. What amazes me is on Golf Digest listing of earnings for tour performance and endorsements for 2005 I think she was 15th when she hadn't won one dollar as a professional. She was above some very excellent golfers on both the LPGA and PGA tours. IMO she has no business playing on the PGA tour. Annika who is the best female golfer by far was unable to make the cut at a PGA tour event so how in the world does Wie think she can. What annoys me is that the media fuels the fire. There are stories out there much more interesting than Wie's. For example Bubba Watson and David Toms to mention a few. But I didn't see ESPN interviewing Bubba after he bettered Wie's score by 12 strokes.
