Both match play and stroke play have their advantages. I love seeing a stroke play tournament when 3,4, or 5, guys have a chance to win it on the back nine on a Sunday afternoon. Match play on the overy hand is "Hand To Hand Combat" it's do or die and once you get the final pairing it's all about the two guys facing each other. It can be a classic duel or a non-event.
