The Tour has a deeper face for a lower ball flight. I got the SQ MAX because it face is not as deep as the tour for a higher launch angel and more distance.....espically with a Diamana shaft. They are high kick shafts and the ball will fly lower then most shafts. The SQ is much longer on miss hits then the 905R. The R also has the bore thru hosel with makes any shaft play stiffer and with less torque. I do not like the feel of a bore thru hoses. It makes it hard to figure out what the shaft is doing and you have to guess at the specs the shaft is playing at.
