I live in the Indy area and have a few favorites. Purgatory, Prairie View, Bear Slide, The Legends of Indiana (Franklin, Indiana), The Fort, Brickyard. I have also heard that Otter Creek in Columbus is one of the best in the state. Columbus is halfway (between Louisville and Indy)

I live about 3 miles north of Crooked Stick but don't know anyone there. If you do get to Indy you should see the yard of one of the prominent Indy residents. I first thought it was part of Crooked Stick but found out in was somebodies private course on their property.
