Skycaddie is great on the course but won't do you any good on a range. In order to measure the distance of any particular shot, you'd have to be able to go to the ball you just hit to find your distance. Not sure about laser finders but I doubt they will pick up a single ball on the course. Also, skycaddie is only used to it's full capability if the courses you play on are downloadable from their website, otherwise don't bother.
