Get custom fit man, as long as you have a repeatable swing. When getting fit if the shaft was 1/2" to long I stopped having a center hits every time. If it was 1/2" to short then the same Only when I had them in between were the hits on the center 90% of the time. Several factors in a custom fitting besides just how tall you are. A good clubmaker could fit the clubs to you for under 50$ unless you needed to get new shafts.

On the driver, a shorter shaft may help heel shots with the longer club is more about you coming out of balance. So either work on your balance or get that club shortened up so your not loosing your balance in the swing. Even if you think your not you still are with heel shots.
