So do I. I'm just saying he won't win this week if he doesn't make some decent length putts. Did you see all the 8-10 footers (and beyond) that Phil made in his round today? Ball striking can only take you so far. If you're 20-25 feet away on every hole and you're not making any of them, you probably aren't going to be winning a potential shootout this week (I think the winner will be -20...the par 5's alone at this point will get Tiger to -15 assuming he birdies all of them, but he'll make some more bogies too so he's gotta birdie some par 4's and/or 3's). Tiger is hitting the ball solid so far. He's only hit one loose approach shot to the right, and the rest of his iron shots have checked up quicker than he expected. But as I said, ball striking will only take you so far. He hit it great in the final round of the Masters but left about 4 or more shots on the course because of terrible putting. Drive for show, putt for dough!
EDIT: Finally, he makes a nice length birdie putt at the 9th! About time. 3 par-5's on the back nine, so he should manage a 68 today as long as he keeps hitting it solid.
