I reciently went to a Cleveland Van demo. They had the launch monitor set up on the range so you were not hitting into a net. They were demoing the HiBore driver with every possible shaft combination. I was interested because I have never been able to get comfortable with my Nike SQ. So I went in and just started swinging sticks. I liked the way the HiBore sets up, and was amazed at the difference the shafts made in the ball flight. I started out with the factory fuji shafts and was not to impressed, I had a lot of balls leaking to the right. Switched to the NVS shaft and this was an inprovement, straighter ball flight but tended to balloon. Next stop was the ProLaunch shaft. I love this shaft, it has a high boring flight that doesnt balloon. Even on poor hits that should have sliced the most I got was a slight fade. This combination tries to take the right side out of play. As far as distance goes I picked up about 20 yards over the Nike SQ. Bottom line is HiBore outpreformes Nike, Taylormade and Callaway. If you get a chance compare these clubs side by side, Cleveland has the real deal with the HiBore.
