Didn't one of our GR sponsors (I think Kevin from Innovex) do some real world tests on the effects of shaft flex? I think he found that it was actually safer to go with slightly more flex than with something that might be too stiff. I am not sure, but it might be worth referencing.

I just don't like people to pick the flex based on a male ego thing. Using a regular flex club doesn't mean you're any less of a man, just that you're a regular man.
