Maybe try to put the ball up further in your stance at address, if this doesnt help. Get some face tape and see where you are making contact. If its in the sweat spot, you club face is hooded (make it less loafed) coming through the ball.
If this is the case, then do what golfguru explained, take it back a little lower, feeling that your left arm is reaching back kind of, and feel like your swinging up at the ball slightly through impact.

I dont think buying a new shaft is necessary to hit the ball higher. A shaft can only do so much. Getting a high launch shaft isnt going to magicly throw the ball higher in the air.
