If you don't mind driving a bit farther, Tour 18 (I think in Flower Mound) is one of the local's favorites. Played there once, very memorable round. Otherwise, definitely go play at Cowboys. Price is quite steep, but a friend of mine says it's worth every penny.

I'm not sure if u can play at TPC. I went there twice to watch Byron Nelson this year and last year. Also went there 2 years ago to accompany my friend in a charity tournament held by my alumni association, I didn't play, just watched, $250 for a round is too much for me, I paid $35 for the luncheon and a free cart ride courtesy of the association to tag along the whole round. Nice course, but I think u need to be a hotel guest to play.
