Golf grips and relationship to ball flight
Is there a relationship between golf grips (not how you grip the club) and relationship to ball flight?
If a grip is too small for you versus if the grip is thicker, is there common lore on what can happen to how your ball flies?

I was curious since I got my grips changed. I have noticed that I have had more comfort swinging my clubs and have hit more consistently since I the change. I use an overlap grip when holding the club. The old grips feel like Golf Pride Tour Velvet Half Cord grips.

I changed the irons grips to something slightly softer than the factory grips(Winn G8). It seems to absorb a lot of shock with the mishits (God, I hate winter).
I got Winn Excels on the woods which are very soft and feel great for me. I noticed my grip pressure wasn't as hard as before which has promoted a better swing and control of the club.
I got Winn Oversize Classics on the driver since I tended to grip the driver so hard when I would swing. Now that I have the fatter and softer grips, I don't grip so hard and it feels like it doesn't shift in my hand when I swing.
