I also play the G2's. I have had everything under the sun from MP-32's to tour issue Bridgestones. I always revert back to the G2's. Not as workable as the minimal offset forgings but on days when the swing is off the ball still goes right at the target. I would not trade that for the world. I really love the G2 HL options in the long irons as well. Very similar to a hybrid. I actually got the HL for the 3, 4, and 5 irons. I suggest giving these a try. Since they have hit the "classics" site on Pings website the prices have went down.
