If I were in charge of the rules, putting a conceded putt would forfeit the concession. Not picking up a conceded putt strikes me as ungrateful and somewhat unsportmanlike. And nothing leaves a more sour taste than seeing a conceded putt missed.

That said, the rules are the rules, so I will simply have to get over that!
