Are you my twin? Wow.

I too started playing in April 05. I had been playing school baseball for a while, but I soon realized that I had a passion for golf that I didn't have for baseball. When I started I was awful, probably shooting in the high 100s. I dropped to around a 15 handicap by the end of the season, in October. I had broken 90 2 or 3 times, with the best being an 87.

Forward to this year. I played my first year of school golf, and from April to now have dropped down to just over a 9 handicap. (9.3 i believe) I've broken 80 5 times, although all at my home course. (77, 3 78's, 79) My average score was just under 84. My goal is to drop down to around a 5 or 6 by Spring time, and down to scratch by the following year. (lofty goals, i know)

Anyways, really sorry for the hijack, I just wanted to share some opinions by someone who's in a similar boat.
