Yes, testing with the standard stock regular steel shafts on both the Titleist and Mizunos, not much to choose between them in distance or accuracy. What threw me was the comment that graphite shafts may be more suited to my swing, particularly to gain higher club-head speed.

I haven't tried graphite in either club, but I am thinking that it may be favourable in the longer irons......... I don't have any problem with my TM rescue clubs (graphite shafts) but do with my longer irons (steel shafts).

I have asked the pro if he can get hold of a couple of demo clubs with graphite shafts for me to try. He knows that if I do decide on Mizuno, that I won't buy from him, but he will get a referral fee from Mizuno (they have a large free custom-fit place and distribution centre about 2 hours away).

I would rather hit some balls 'for real' with the clubs before fine-tuning at custom-fit time.
