Are these "ladies" sets they sell worth a poop? Particularly the ones where you get a full set and the bag? I know I would never buy a set like that for myself, but I've been playing for a dozen years and such. I would really just like to find her a decent set of irons for around $150 or so. It doesn't matter if they are used. I can find her a driver/3 wood to use among my stash of ones I don't use and have it cut down for her.
What about these mama jama's? They seem about half worthless to me, but may suit her just fine. Suggestions?

Any of those would be ok, but if I were you, I would find a local club fitter, that actually knows what he is doing, and have him make her a few clubs such as a driver, a 7 wood, and maybe a few irons...Make sure they are the right length, and right shafts...See if she enjoys the game, and after that, maybe fill in the gaps of the set....I think that would be the best way to go!
