After hemming and hawing over wedges I recently purchased a set if Ping iWedges. My PW is 46-degrees, so I purchased a 50, 54, and 58 degree iWedges (like to keep the lofts of my clubs even).

I am very pleased with these wedges. I have hit them from a variety of lies, from tight to thick and have done very well with them (I practice my short-game a lot). I like them better than the G2 wedges that I purchased with my original set a long time ago. They are also a great price: $99. I got the steel shaft with cushion insert. For me they are easy to hit and I can spin them under the right conditions.
