My favorite memory is a near-miss for a hole-in-one that would've won me a Toyota Previa van.

I was the "D" player in a blind-draw charity scramble at Cedar Lakes Golf Club in Loganville, Ga. We were on the Par 3 5th hole which is about 155 yard, but is severely downhill and plays a couple of clubs shorter. I hit the flagstick on the fly and ended up with a 2 foot birdie putt.

I think it upset my playing partners more than it did me. The way they reacted, you'd have thought they took the keys out of my pocket.

As it is, in over 30 years of golf, I've never witnessed a hole-in-one.
