Perhaps the earlier disagreement between Woods and the PGA Tour has affected how many events he plays in?

I doubt it, since he's scaled back before this rift. They've catered to him with the Fed ExHe has scaled backed his schedule more than usual in the West Coast (skipping LA and the T oc C). He has played 3 of 4 events in the Florida swing before the Fed Ex Cup, and has only played twice. While the purpose of the Fed Ex Cup was to get Tiger and Phil more involved, it has apparently backfired on the part of Tiger.
It would be good for the PGA if he did. If you are correct, it means he will play in 15 more events and with him probably skipping his tournament and the Buick in Michigan as well as maybe the British or U.S. (if the baby comes then), I don't see it. It is questionable about him playing in Wachovia, Bridgestone (week before the PGA), and Barclays (first playoff event of the Fed Ex Cup). He also doesn't plan to play in any of the fall finish events. Can you think of 15 events for the remaining year? I don't see that happening. It looks like he will be hard pressed to play 10 more.
