Re: Mizuno MX-19 Irons Review
Until this spring I played a set of Powerbilt irons, which were 25 yo but were somewhat on the leading edge of the cavity back, perimeter weighting revolution of the last generation. When I was playing regularly I hit them pretty well, but I don't play very regularly though this year that will change.
Anyways, I got the MX19 last fall and have played them twice this spring. If my swing is halfway decent then I get a good or better shot out of the clubs. I think they are very forgiving. If my swing is really good then I hit the ball very, very well. High and straight, like I used to be able to hit. I rarely *totally* screw one up.
I'm a lefty and I've always had a problem with pushing left, even to short irons, and slicing also, particularly with the long irons. That problem seems to be gone now.
I'm very happy with them and would recommend them.
