The grip with the paper still on the tape should be fine, The tape is only needed to be used with the solvent to make the grip slide on easy. If for some reason you feel a need to pull those two grips and remove the paper, you can use air pressure to blow into the end of the grip and slide it out. There is a whole discussion on this if you look for it a little bit. If it was my clubs, I'd just leave the grips alone. And next time, I'd recommend you get the 2 inch wide tape, it's easier to use.
