Re: Best Shot ever
What I'm about to describe happened yesterday.
On a local course, Par 3, I hit an 8 Iron to an elevated green that was 138 from the tee. The ball landed on the edge of a steep slope passed the pin, and slowly rolled back to about 4 feet from the pin. That was probably the best shot I had ever made until that point, but I still had a putt to make(this is how I actively thought about it, I tried to block "Birdie Putt" out of my hed).
When my group and I reached the green , I read the putt( downhill, with a steep left to right). It wasn't the easiest 4 -footer, as I watched my fellow competitor miss his par putt from the same side of the green as I was, from a little further back. I proceeded to make my putt for my FIRST BIRDIE EVER.
Which shot was better? You be the judge.
