As happens with his fellow Argentine Ángel Cabrera, this golfer doesn't offer too much consistency, but when he's inspired it's a delight to watch him play golf. His rounds are often sprinkled with bogies and spectacular birdies and eagles. He's another very long hitter who can nonetheless display an elegant and smooth short game.
During the British Open he scored 10 birdies in the last round, led during some time and ended third, one shy of Padraig and Sergio García.

On Sunday I talked to my manager whether to go back to Argentina but heard it was a good course, so decided to come here. I am glad I have." Indeed he is.
