In my opinion, that kind of money in pro sport is still excessive. True, they are special people, talented, hard working, but there's not an end of supply of hardworking people. I doubt that Tiger put in 8 hours a day, five days a week, 200+ days per year. How many people we know worked a life time and saved nothing? And how many of these guys have private jets, drugs, throw money down the drain like there's no tomorrow. On the other hand some players are scraping by, like Stricker, in 2005 he made 33 thousands only (if I recall correctly), while Tiger made upwards of 9 millions. So I think the prizes should be spreadout more between the winner to the bottom qualifier.

And the endorsement fees are crazy too. Hundreds of millions to Tiger alone. And the regular joe's like me are paying Tiger with my hard earned salary, as if he is not rich enough.
