We look like Vaughn Taylor, JJ Henry, Chad Campbell, and Chris DiMarco is gone.

The more players that Europe loses, the worse it is for them and better for us. The more players we lose, the better for us.
I agree totally. Losing Vaughn Taylor, JJ Henry, Chad Campbell, and Brett Wetterich is the biggest blessing the US team could hope for. Chris DiMarco is slumping, but I wouldn't rule him out as a Captain's pick in the case he doesn't start playing better. He's a good match play kind of guy.

We look like this so far...

Tiger Woods - world's best player and a greatest possible asset to team USA
Jim Furyk - another asset, hope he plays his best
Zach Johnson - played great in the last R.C.
Woody Austin - this is a question mark... but he is capable for sure
Stewart Cink - I have to look at his win/loss record, I'm not too excited about him
Joe Durant - reminiscent of Taylor, Wetterich, Campbell and Henry
Hunter Mahan - I'm excited about this, he's got talent and hopefully can handle match play situations
Jerry Kelly - feelings the same as those for Durant
David Toms - I dunno??? hmmmm
Steve Stricker - hope he plays his best, and how the heck is he #10 in Ryder Cup points behind Joe Durant and Stewart Cink who haven't done squat lately???

Cap's picks... Verplank (#11) for sure. Maybe Oberholser (#14), Davis Love (#15), Bubba Watson (#19) or Charles Howell (#23), Mickelson (#51) or DiMarco (#53).

How is Mickelson so low???

How about Taylor, Henry, Wetterich and Campbell you ask. Here's their current Ryder Cup points rankings...

Wetterich #22
Henry #24
Taylor #29
Campbell #76
