Let's face it, Tiger would be one of the most sought after interviews at any event. Knowing this, years ago he issued to the media some of the criteria for granting interviews. I don't remember them all, but here are a few I recall.

If it's a major
if he is the defending champion
if it's a new tourney for him
if he's in the lead

The fact that he chose not to particpate outside the team interview I feel is refreshing. I would rather the spotlight rightly be on Weir and how he won rather than Tiger and how he lost.
