The G10 driver looks to have a larger profile than the G5, meaning more width and length rather than depth from crown to sole. An older gent who I play Saturday skins with just got a 9.0 degree with the ProLaunch Red shaft. It has an impressive sound. I didn't hit it, but he likes it better than the FT-i he traded in.

I do like the shaft options. The ProLaunch Red is probably the lowest trajectory of any stock shaft on a big name club. That sort of shaft appeals to my needs, so it's a welcomed option. It seems like ProLaunch Blue and NVS type shafts are the norm for stock shafts.
