I will be keeping the statistics and points for a new fantasy game for the 2008 PGA Tour season. Any GR member is welcome to participate. Here is a list of the rules.

#1. GR members can join the contest by picking a team of 6 PGA Tour players whose world golf ranking (WGR) adds up to no less than 100 (use this link http://www.pgatour.com/r/stats/2007/186.html). This roster will be constant for the season, so if one of your players isn't involved in a tournament for a given week, he will earn no points. Roster submissions and changes are due by 11:59 PM on January 3rd, as the first PGA Tour event officially starts on the 4th (Mercedes).

Example that totals 100:

Tiger Woods 1
Jim Furyk 3
KJ Choi 10
Scott Verplank 24
Retief Goosen 25
Charles Howell III 37

#2. All participants will earn points equivalent to the FedEx Cup Points that their roster of players earn each week. The total of their players' points will be their score for the week. I'll track the scores from week to week so GR members will know how they fare against their peers throughout the contest.

Example of a weekly score of 6819:

Tiger Woods - 4500
Jim Furyk - 0 (did not play)
KJ Choi - 1240
Scott Verplank - 0 (missed cut)
Retief Goosen - 837
Charles Howell - 242

#3. The sum of participants weekly scores will be added into one massive score that will determine the final outcome of the contest for the season. The contest will come to a close on the Sunday of the Tour Championship presented by Coca Cola.
