Way too hard to track the European PGA, Japanese PGA, Austalasian PGA, etc... I would have to arbitrarily assign points values for other tournaments, plus track 100 more events. We're sticking to the US PGA. Strategically picking your team might include checking to see how many US PGA events your perspective team members have played in seasons past.
As far as using the WGR, it is the simplest way to pick a roster. More than FedEx Cup Points in '07 and the '07 money list, the WGR give us the truest rankings of all the best players in the world.
